ONE DRESS TWO WAYS

One of the things I love about Autumn is that you can transition your Spring/Summer dresses by layering them over a long sleeve t-shirt or a roll neck jumper etc. Add a pair of boots and you're good to go, just like I did in the images below. The great thing about adopting this way of styling your summer clothing is that the styling combinations are endless. Over here in the UK sometimes our summer is none existent but I still get caught up in the excitement of buying pretty lightweight dresses etc and then I don't even get the chance to wear them. By layering them I am able to wear them in the cooler and colder months and get more value for my money.

For look number 2, I removed the roll neck and exchanged the leopard belt for a belt bag instead. I went for green as it is an Autumn colour and also goes well with the deep red colour of the boots. You can wear black boots or even opt for a cross body bag instead of the belt bag. You can mix it up with a variety of items in your wardrobe and create different looks. I could go on and on about the different combos you could create, but you get my drift. It’s whatever makes you feel more comfortable style-wise. The other pro about styling outfits like this is that you can use items that you already have in your wardrobe!
